After several months eagerly anticipating the re-opening of Rajmoni in Lower Earley, it is safe to say it was well worth the wait. After moving premises to a larger unit within Maiden Place, Rajmoni opened its doors to the public for the first time on August 2, with extra tables brought in to accommodate the demand on the opening night, not to mention the mass of takeaway collection orders - and it is clear to see why.

Hotel chains' restaurant food sometimes gets a bad rap, but a visit to the newly refurbished Padworth restaurant and bar at the Holiday Inn Reading West on a quiet Thursday evening put paid to any preconceptions we might have had.
