  Since opening its doors in 1987, The Viceroy Restaurant on St Leonards Road has become a popular fixture on the Windsor restaurant scene.

  The reason for its popularity can be attributed to a number of things, including the wide variety of great tasting Bangladeshi and Indian dishes on its menu – all of which are expertly prepared using the finest ingredients – and the friendly attentiveness of the Viceroy's staff.

  For those wanting a small taste of a wide variety of the restaurant's dishes, the mixed starter is a wise choice as it features onion bhajees, chicken tikka, lamb tikka and a sheek kebab.

  When it comes to choosing a main course, the restaurant's house specials offer plenty in the way of choice with the mildly spiced, tomato based Chicken Bhuna a must.

  It's spicy, features sizeable and succulent chicken chunks, and, like all the dishes on The Viceroy's menu, is cooked to order so can be tailored to the diner's specific tastes.

  The seafood house special, Chingri Johl, also comes highly recommended and features king prawns cooked in curry sauce that have been delicately flavoured with traditional herbs and spices.
